Although we're under lockdown/quarantine, that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about what I plan to wear throughout the summer. When it comes to fashion, I like to feel comfortable and confident in whatever I'm wearing. I think the two go hand in hand: there have been moment in the not so distant past (*cough cough* college) where I wore a skirt that may have been a *bit* too short or tight and spent most of the day adjusting it and wishing I hadn't worn it (or bought it, to be honest).

My wardrobe is made up of mostly basics-- lots of white, black, camel, navy blue, and the occasional pastel-- however, I really enjoy playing with floral and animal print. I also really enjoy wearing pieces that add whimsy and fun to an otherwise simple outfit. One of my favorite stores for work and off-duty clothes is J.Crew. I'd bet that 70% of my wardrobe is comprised of pieces from J.Crew-- they're affordable and quality pieces!

J.Crew released new arrivals for the summer and of course I swiftly filled my cart with so many items. Above are six items that I plan to purchase and wear on repeat throughout the summer. One thing about me, when I like something, I like it. I'm not afraid to rewear the same thing over and over again. Cost per wear is important to consider when shopping!
